Pieterse hopes to place herself on the mountain bike for the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024. She has also been successful in the field and on the road. Pieterse was already Dutch cyclo-cross champion, second in the cyclo-cross world championship and she immediately finished fifth in Strade Bianche on her debut on the road.
