The Italian Jonathan Milan (Bahrain Victorious) won the second stage of the Tour of Italy in the sprint, this Sunday May 7 in San Salvo. The end of the stage was notably marked by a massive crash a few kilometers from the finish, in which many favorites were trapped. Mads Pedersen (Trek-Segafredo) is the main victim of this fall. The overall leader’s pink jersey remains on the shoulders of Belgian Remco Evenepoel, winner of the first stage.
