“Weight is going to be our biggest opponent,” says Ward, showing all the luggage areas on the bikes. With two luggage carts, one child in front and one child on the back, they set off as a small caravan. “It is advised to bring about 25-30 kilos, but the children weigh that alone,” laughs Ward.
