Cyberpunk 2077 system requirements increased

CDPR explained the reasons for the decision made for the Cyberpunk 2077 1.5 patch:

“Due to the discontinuation of support for some video card drivers, we have lowered the minimum system requirement for Nvidia graphics cards to the GTX 970. The game will still run when you open it with an Nvidia 700 series card, but we will now develop the game without taking that level of cards into account.”

CD Projekt stated that Windows 7 support was also removed for similar reasons, due to technical limitations. The reason is the difficulty of adapting the game to Windows 7, taking into account Directx12.
