Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty will be paid

Radek Grabowski from CD Projekt Red team announced that the Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty package will be paid in an interview he attended.

A big expansion pack is on the way for Cyberpunk 2077, which received many criticisms due to the errors it had when it was released, but entered the recovery process with the updates that came as time went on. The Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty package was announced last September and was announced to arrive in 2023. Today, it was stated that this package will be paid.

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty will be released as paid

An interview with Games Radar site making Radek Grabowski, CD Projekt Red’s global public relations director, said that while he has yet to confirm a price, the expansion will not be a free DLC similar to the latest Edgerunners update.

Although there was no explanation about this when the expansion package was announced, the expectation that the package would come without production was the first official statement from the company. Since CD Projekt Red usually releases a lot of free content for its games (including The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt next-gen update), this kind of expectation is normal.

Phantom Liberty will not only include new cosmetics and weapons, but will make much larger additions to the game with new story content and missions. Keanu Reeves will return as Johnny Silverhand, featuring a new plot, new characters, and new areas of Night City.
