Cyberpunk 2077 Overdrive Mode takes visuals to the next level
If you are one of those who think that the graphics of Cyberpunk are already quite good, what you will see in the video will surprise you. In Overdrive mode, the number of light emitting sources is unlimited, unlike the techniques used in other games. It ensures that all objects have accurate shadows, reflections and global illumination on PC.
At this point, we have to say that you will need to have a really high-end computer, especially a video card, in order to benefit from what this mode brings. NVIDIA recommends DLSS 3 with GeForce RTX 40 Series GPU so that we can take full advantage of this mode. Of course we are not surprised 🙂
What is Ray Tracing? You can read in our content.
However, the result will add almost all the elements in the game that reflect on your screen, whether the light source is a car headlight or a street lamp. It has been used in such detail that we can choose the illuminations that are revealed even by the lights reflecting from the surfaces.
On the other hand, as confirmed by CDPR, the new expansion pack Phantom Liberty will be released in June of this year. The DLC will be released for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC.
