(Finance) – Confsec 2023 will be held in Bari on Tuesday 17 Octoberthe most important event of cyber security of Southern Italy now in its eighth edition. The goal is raise awareness among entrepreneurs and public administrators on the risks of cyber crime and the harmful consequences it has on business.
Among the themes at the center of the event: prevention of cyber attacks, the data security and the online privacy and the latest technologies and cyber security protection strategies.
For Lino FornaroSecurity Manager, co-Founder and partner of Evolumia, “Cyber security is at the center of attention today due to continuous attacks and thanks to the work of the media that spread news about it. Unfortunately, companies, despite being aware of the cyber danger, are unable to measure its effects on their business and, as a result, they do not adjust their budget or invest correctly. This is mainly because a fundamental figure is missing as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), but also because of poorly done and limited risk analyses to the technological component alone. At ConfSec we help companies and public administrators to understand how to correctly deal with the phenomenon of cyber crime without wasting their efforts, thanks to the contribution of Evolumia experts and our illustrious guests”.
ConfSec will open with the Panel discussion “Cyber Crime and the impacts on the national economy and businesses. What counteractions should be implemented and at what level? How can we prepare to manage and react to a cyber attack?”.
