The group’s purpose is for vegans to be able to advise and inform other vegans about new and old foods that are specifically vegan.

When News24 come in contact with Therese von Sydow, brand manager at OLW, she says that the rumor about the pesto chips is true.

The chips are described as crispy potato chips with a lot of basil and garlic flavor that give summer evenings at the grill or on the beach a little extra spice.

The chips will be available to buy in stores from week 15 and for a limited period onwards.
