Customers rage at Nocco: “The ugliest thing I’ve seen”

Customers rage at Nocco The ugliest thing Ive seen

The success train Nocco is pushing on and just in time for the heat to come, they release a new drink. The company usually launches a new product every summer and this year is no exception.

Last year’s summer drink was “Juicy Melba” with a taste of peach, and the year before it was “Juicy Breeze” which tastes of tropical fruits.

But the 2024 summer drink has not gone down well with customers at all, judging by the comments on the company’s Instagram.

The question everyone is asking – what is the difference between Nocco and Celsius?

Turnover over SEK 4,266 million

Things are going well for the energy drink company, to say the least. Nocco is owned by Vitamin Well AB which in 2022 had a staggering turnover of SEK 4,266,538,000 and made a profit of SEK 339,107,000 in 2022.

New strawberry flavored drink

Nocco’s new can for the summer is called “Berruba” and is flavored with strawberry and rhubarb.

– Having a jar of Berruba is like drinking summer. It has the potential to become the go-to drink for anyone longing for the warmer season while wanting to stay alert yet energetic, says Bella Jordanssonmarket enablement manager for Nocco, in a press release.

Customers rave about the new design

When Nocco posted a picture of the new can, the comments started pouring in. At the time of writing, the post has 595 comments. In the comments section, several people share their dissatisfaction. This is how some write:

“Black text on red and the fonts look really cheap, like they didn’t have time to change before launch.”

“Looks like a prototype, really ugly.”

“Looks like Nocco was bought by some semi-serious UF company considering how the can looks.”

“Was among the ugliest thing I’ve seen on a Nocco.”

“It looks like my covers from kindergarten.”
