During Thursday, Postnord’s CEO, Annemarie Gardshol, announce that they want the Swedish government to lower the requirements for postal delivery. The reason is that they cannot meet the current requirements, and instead they want a five-day delivery time for letters, something Gardshol believes must be accepted.
Postnord’s new requirements: Want to deliver letters less often
The customers’ sharp criticism of Postnord
But the new demands from Postnord cause several users on platform X to see red and direct harsh criticism at both the company and its approach. One person is also critical of the fact that the cost of both stamps and sending parcels has become more expensive, while service and distribution have become worse. This while the CEO earns a lot of money.
“Good pay to run a company in the bottom,” writes one person.
“Everything got so much better in the future,” writes another ironically.
One person criticizes the fact that what is sent by post is at risk of not arriving.
“They blame costs and I don’t know everything. The funny thing is that at the same time they are neglecting more packages, letters and goods than ever before. Maybe it’s time they went back to pen and paper, at the time the motto was ‘like a letter in the post’.”
Another believes that the decline began when the old post merged with the Danish postal company and claims that the Danish company must have “cheated the shirt of the Swedish negotiators”.
In other words, there are tough bids regarding the company’s new requirements.
But there are also those who seem to take the whole thing less seriously and believe that times are also changing.
“Today, it takes less than a second to deliver an email, SMS, WhatsApp, Messenger, Facebook, Tiktok, X, etc etc message with text, image or video anywhere in the world. Welcome to 2024, existence is in constant change”.
