Ica Knuten is a grocery store with a deli in Nyköping. Now in Mello times, the Ica store has started a new concept, which has nothing to do with food.
They invite all customers to a concert during the weekends with various performances. Last weekend, the Ica store’s deli girls offered a resounding hit party at the fruit counter, they both sang and danced.

The ICA store filmed parts of a performance and posted it on the store’s Instagram account. Several customers are now mocking the staff and their in-store concert, saying that it is both fake and embarrassing.
“One really hopes that they have more faith in themselves … embarrassing to hell haha”.
“Why do managers let their staff do stuff like this?”.
“Please stop with the ones you are doing, we need the hearing for other things”.

The idea of the concerts was to spread joy to the customers and let the staff offer themselves.
– We offer ourselves to our customers. We are absolutely not professional singers, says Linda Holmström, Ica trader, in a comment to News24.

But the hate and mocking comments will not stop the staff from continuing to perform and sing in front of customers.
