Burger King in Thailand last week posted a picture of their newest venture: “The Real Cheeseburger”. And as the name suggests, the inside of the hamburger is only made of cheese.
Customers in shock
Shocked followers commented on the photo on Facebook, asking if it was all just a joke – to which the burger giant replied that it wasn’t.
The burger consists of only “American cheese” – 20 slices to be exact – sandwiched between a hamburger bun.

“I ate everything, now have to check both liver and kidney”,
writes a user.
“It was as outrageous as you thought it would be: dry, a shock to the digestive system, and literally a thousand calories worth of unnecessary processed cheese. That’s another thing: for something called a ‘Real Cheeseburger,’ there’s nothing real about any of the cheeses here.”, writes another.
“It’s horrible. It’s not really shocking that it’s disgusting. It’s literally hamburger buns and 20 slices of cheese. There’s no sauce,” writes one upset customer.
Only available for 3 days
The new cheeseburger will cost around 100 Thai baht, which corresponds to approximately 30 Swedish kronor. However, the burger will only be available for three days, from July 11 to 13.
