Customers who are asked to cancel their tickets for canceled trains have to pay a cancellation fee and in addition there are long waiting times.
The Swedish Consumer Agency has started an investigation of Vytåg after several customers submitted complaints to the authority.
– Consumers have reported to us that they were dissatisfied with the information they received and perceived it to be incorrect, says Maja Lindstrand, lawyer at the Swedish Consumer Agency.
“Got their tickets refunded”
Among other things, customers have been asked to cancel canceled trains themselves and then they have had to pay a cancellation fee.
– Everyone gets their tickets refunded regardless of ticket type, says Christer Berglund.
