It was when the employee was going home from the office that the customer tried to enter through the locked main entrance. They then ended up in an airlock where the doors were locked.
The employee was stuck in the small area with the aggressive customer who threatened to kill him. After a while, the doors opened and the customer disappeared from the scene.
The employee was not physically injured because the blows missed, but is mentally ill and had to be taken off work after the incident.
– We do not comment on the well-being of our staff in the media, but of course we take this very seriously, says a press officer at the bank.
The incident has been reported to the police and the Work Environment Agency.
