Ica Älgen in Vargön in Vänersborg installed a new pawn machine about a year and a half ago.
In the new recycling machine, customers empty their bags of cans and glasses directly into a slot, which means that both of them have slipped into the deposit.

Ica Älgen’s big mortgage problem
News24 has previously written about Ica Maxi in Borås who found a dental cast, sex toys, dirty underwear and a sharp kitchen knife in their pawn machine.
Here you can read about the Ica manager’s anger towards customers who pledge dirty underwear.
Now have also Ica the Moose suffered from similar problems. In a post on Facebook, the store writes that they found cutlery, underpants, panties, batteries, paint cans, snuff boxes, cameras and multi-tools in the pawn machine.
– We found a whole bunch of keys to a home. It would have been hard to get rid of one like that, says Ica Älgen’s store manager Christopher Russo to Nyheter24.

When something that is not an empty glass is fitted, the machine stops, whereupon the customer rings a bell so that the staff can come and investigate what happened.
Most of the time it’s snuff boxes or paper that get stuck, but once a vibrator appeared in the deposit machine that you had to take out to the waiting customer.
– It was quite odd, says Christoffer Russo.

Therefore, strange things were appropriate at Ica
The reason why so many strange things end up in the recycling, the Ica dealer believes, is because the deposit bag is often in a rough entrance or in the garage, where you have dirty laundry or other rubbish.
– Yes, they have no idea. I don’t think a customer is aware that there are panties or underpants in the deposit bag, but you can say that you are blissfully unaware, says Russo and continues.
– You never know what you will find. The best would have been if there was only a deposit, so it would be a smooth process for the customer.
