Team Hasselborg are currently completely unstoppable in the curling European Championships in Finland. The start has been absolutely perfect as the team is still undefeated.
The fifth straight victory came against Denmark, with 7–5. The Danes led 2–1 after the third round and got a little closer at 6–5 but then the Swedes decided the match in the tenth round with a stone cold.

SVT’s expert Eva Lund is impressed.
– Sweden has raised the degree of difficulty in its game. It’s so beautifully played, really great, she says in the broadcast and adds:
– It is the calm and safety that impresses. You are connected but at the same time very determined.
Nervous before the last stone
Anna Hasselborg said that she felt a little nervous before the last stone.
– Of course I felt the adrenaline. But the draws had worked the whole match, so it felt like it was going to work. It was lucky that we managed to do it, says Anna Hasselborg.
The team has been lifted by good support in the stands from family members.
– It is definitely a boost to have the family visiting.
Earlier in the day, Lithuania was also defeated 8–5. Tomorrow morning, Sweden faces another Nordic neighbor, Norway.
As you know, SVT broadcasts the championship.
