Canada with the victory in the final defends its gold from last year’s World Cup.

– It’s incredible. That was the goal. We could not believe that we gave ourselves the opportunity to play this final, it is an incredible feeling to defend the gold, says skipper Rachel Homan.

It was in the eighth round that the match was largely decided. There, Canada stole two points and linked a great concept about the match.

– It was not a light stone, but it is not the level we have become accustomed to, says SVT’s expert Eva Lund.

The gloves then went off after the ninth round when Canada managed to take another point and Switzerland gave up. The match ended 7-3.

– They are worthy winners. Canada was the better team here.
