105 cultural institutions submitted a subsidy application to the municipality. 67 of these have been awarded money. A total of almost 24 million euros in subsidy was requested, while only 18.46 million is available. Of the 67 institutions receiving subsidies, 24 are new. According to the council, these institutions together form “a supportive, idiosyncratic and inviting cultural sector”.
