Centerns ungdomsförbund (Cuf) and Centerstudenter support Elisabeth Thand Ringqvist in the party leadership process, according to a press release.
Thand Ringqvist is one of three candidates to take over from Annie Lööf. The other two are Daniel Bäckström and Muharrem Demirok.
“I am happy to announce that Cuf stands behind Elisabeth Thand Ringqvist as the next party leader for the Center Party. We need someone who puts policy first and has the vision to drive a libertarian and bourgeois reform agenda,” writes Cuf leader Réka Tolnai on Twitter.
According to Centerstudenter, she is the only candidate who has an outside perspective because she has not sat on C’s party board or parliamentary group in recent years.
