(Finance) – “We believe it is essential to outline the lines of a possible agenda for professionals and businesses that arises from the confrontation with politics and the representatives of the Meloni government, bringing to the attention of the Executive the issues that we consider fundamental and for which We’ve been fighting for a long time.”
He stated it Marco Cuchel, President of the National Association of Accountants, presenting the national forum “A possible agenda for professionals and businesses” to be held on 18 January starting at 9.00 at the “Roma Eventi” Congress Center (Piazza della Pilotta).
“The age-old theme of the imbalance in the relationship between the financial administration and the taxpayer, be it a private citizen, professional or company – added Cuchel -; the reform of the tax justice system which sees the judging body reporting directly to the Mef, while we ask for the transfer of tax judges to the powers of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, as well as the modification of the institution of tax mediation; the urgent revision of the prerogatives and rules governing non-ordinary professions; the law on fair compensation, long awaited, which had seen the start of a process in the last legislature, during which critical issues had emerged that are no longer resolved, such as the relationship with the so-called “strong clients”, the actual collectability , and disciplinary proceedings against professionals; the need to review the current legislation which provides for excessive liability of a sanctioning nature for statutory auditors and auditors, which causes professionals to flee from these functions; as well as the fundamental issue of being able to ensure the direct sanction imposed on professionals deriving from errors of a fiscal nature. These are objectives that can not only give new impetus to professionals but can make a decisive contribution to restarting the economy in Italy. We are ready to do our part – concluded the number one of the ANC – if those who have to make the final decisions listen to the proposals of those who have experience and competence to offer a valid contribution to our country”.
They will speak at the meeting Maurice Leo (Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance), Francesco Paolo Sisto (Deputy Minister of Justice), Lucia Albano (Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy and Finance), Luigi Alberto Gusmeroli (President of the Productive Activities Commission at Montecitorio), Marco Osnato (President of the Finance Commission of the Chamber of Deputies), Clare Gribaudo (Vice President of the Labor Commission of the Chamber of Deputies) and members of parliament Andrea De Bertoldi, Luigi Marattin, Antonio Missioni, Mario Turco, Daniela Dondi.
