During Saturday, a cruising event was held in Lindesberg which attracted car enthusiasts to the city. Towards evening, the situation became chaotic, as the police received, among other things, five reports of assault. One of the victims was a man in his 30s who was hit with a stick.
– This was not a normal Saturday in Lindesberg, says Mats Öhman, press spokesperson for the police.
Another case of suspected assault concerns two people in their 40s who are said to have been exposed at the restaurant they worked at during the event.
In addition to the five reports of assault, there were also two cases of illegal driving and one report of attempted blue light sabotage. The police handed out 31 fines during the evening, detained two people and had two more people removed from the scene.
