The incident occurred at an auto show in the town of Dumas, in southern Arkansas.
One person is in custody in connection with the incident, the police stated that more people could be detained. Police believe other people also opened fire on the crowd.
The town’s auto show is held every spring to fund scholarships and support schools. Parades and other activities are also held during the fair.
The organizer of the fair, Wallace McGehee, said that there had been no violence in the organizations in previous years and apologized for what happened.
Another armed attack in the country came from Dallas, Texas.
One person was killed and another injured as a result of gunfire at a hotel in the city.
Police stated that no arrests have been made yet regarding the incident.
