This weekend’s last competition in Italian cogne was the 10 kilometers of the women free. The Swedes did not have much to oppose and a clear winner became American Jessie Diggins.
One who was extra disappointed was Moa Lundgren. The 26-year-old was anything but satisfied after the finish. Lundgren finished in place 36.
“I was crap, but the skis were stuck in the ground,” she says.
Maja Dahlqvist, who won Saturday’s sprint, became the best Swedish in tenth place.
– I didn’t think it was that hard. I might have gone faster, says Dahlqvist.
Falun is waiting
When asked about yesterday’s victory, Maja Dahlqvist answered the ski star:
– No, I don’t think so. I was tired this morning, but maybe it was good.
Two became the Norwegian Astrid Öyre Slind and third Kerttu Niskanen, Finland.
There remains a World Cup competition before the World Cup starts. Then it is Falun that applies.
