– It’s inconceivable, I don’t think it’s true. I didn’t even know that I could do something like this if I was to be honest, says a shocked Rydzek to Viaplay.
Kristine Stavås Skistad took the lead in the final and checked the race and everyone believed in Norwegian victory. Skistad then sat sad in the snow and then walked around wondering what was happening.
– I followed my tactics and felt that I could normally win but lost it the last meters and then it went as it went, says Skistad to SVT Sport.
Coletta Rydzek took her first World Cup victory and barely believed his eyes and wild German joy broke out afterwards.
Maja Dahlqvist out in the seminar: “Cursed”
Johanna Hagström looked down, but made a good last curve towards the rally and was fighting for the pallet but had to give up and finished four in the dense sprint.
“It’s incredibly sour, I’m never happy with a fourth place,” says Hagström, who felt mute from the previous heat.
Maja Dahlqvist, who was second in Tallinn’s sprint on Wednesday, went in the same semi -finals as Hagström but was suspended before the rally and ended only fifth and missed the final, her first final loss this season.
– I’m cursed now, the first final I miss this year. It is getting a little empty in the thought now, says Dahlqvist.
