Cross-country skiing: Johannes Hösflot Kläbo wins the Tour de Ski – touches Dario Cologna

Kläbo had two minutes and 18 seconds down on runner-up Erik Valnes before the final climb up Alpe Cermis.

The 28-year-old dominant, just like so many others, had to toil hard up the hill and finished in 18th place. However, this was enough with a good margin to take home the overall victory.

– I felt that I had pretty good control, so it was just a matter of taking life a bit calmly and comfortably, says Kläbo to SVT Sport.

Simen Hegstad Krüger, Norway, impressed in the slalom hill and won the stage. Jens Burman was the best Swede in eighth place. Edvin Anger was twelfth – and thus the best Swede overall, where he was ninth.

Mika Vermeulen, Austria, was second overall and Hugo Lapalus, France, third.
