Anger was extremely close to a new pallet place in the World Cup, but wasn’t really enough. The 22-year-old ski star finished four, just four seconds after the third, Norwegian Martin Löfström Nyeng.
– I am very pleased with the effort, there is so much to complain about. 3.7 seconds … you can always find that, but I was completely exhausted, Edvin says to SVT Sport.
Another Swede who impressed was Gustaf Berglund, who finished seventh – the best placement of the career in the World Cup.
– It felt fucking fun, not every day you have to sit in the leader. It’s a fantastic atmosphere. I am a little surprised that I have traveled so well, says Berglund, who now hopes for a World Cup ticket.
– You get a little spark, but there are many other talented riders, the effort does not impair the chances.
Rest is waiting
Won made Harald Östberg Amundsen and second became Iver Tildheim Andersen.
The competitions in Cogne are the last before the World Cup starts on February 25. Now a little rest is waiting for Edvin Anger.
– It will be nice to hang on the couch a little and start over. There have been many competitions so you get a little measured, it will be nice to come home with everyday life.
