Cross -country skiing: Frida Karlsson had to wait for a bronze medal: “Nice”

After Karlsson went to the finish, she had to wait eight minutes before Teresa Stablo went to finish 2.9 seconds too late to take a medal. Austrian started late and got the advantage of going throughout his race after the snowfall ceased.

At 4.7 km, Stadlober led the race by three seconds ahead of Therese Johaug and 4.5 seconds ahead of Ebba Andersson. Frida Karlsson was then fifth – 15.3 seconds after city lobes.

With only 800 meters left and a lead -heavy riot left, Karlsson was 7.6 seconds after Stadlober, which, like William Poromaa in the men’s race, completely ended the last bit in. Karlsson had the best ending of everyone in the race.

– It was a good ending that made me get up on the podium. I won the mental fight against myself. It was grisly but fun, says Karlsson.
