Cross-country skiing: Emma Ribom gives the green light for Tuesday’s sprint

It was during last week that Emma Ribom suffered a knee injury in connection with a training session. The 26-year-old cut open a wound and was forced to have seven stitches.

The impact caused her to miss the weekend’s three World Cup competitions.

But tomorrow she is ready for a comeback, something like The Express was the first to report on.

– I’ve been looking forward to it all week here in Canmore, so I think it will be crazy fun to compete again, says Ribom in a press release.

“Nice and fun”

For Expressen, the long-distance star develops:

– Nice and fun. It has been a long wait to see if the knee would get better. I have had to take it day by day, she tells the newspaper.

Thus, Ribom will participate in Tuesday’s sprint that takes place in Canmore, Canada.

The sprint qualifying starts at 17:00 on Tuesday.
