There were two Swedish teams that were placed on the track. The Swedish first team consisted of Johanna Hagström and Maja Dahlqvist and thus solved a pallet place.
– It was the last thing I did at the World Cup, so I thought “now I drive,” Hagström tells SVT Sport.
Stood for strong ending
Hagström offered a nice and quick ride on the second last stretch. Her radar partner for the day went on a shudder ending where several nations settled for the pallet seats.
Dahlqvist ended strongly in a spurt settlement with Germany. However, it was not enough for victory.
– I heard that it was creepy behind me, I thought I would stay far ahead. My goal was to keep me as strong as possible up to Maja on the last stretch, says Hagström.
The Swedish duo finished second and Germany won the competition – 0.1 seconds ahead.
– She has made her three best races in life here now, kind of, says Dahlqvist about the German Coletta Rydzek (closing route).
Swedish second team finished sixth
Switzerland finished third.
The other team, with Moa Lundgren and Moa Ilar, finished sixth.
Hagström and Dahlqvist were also the fastest in qualifying.
