Mikael Damberg (S), Minister of Finance, believes that the attention paid to the non-partisan member Amineh Kakabaveh will complicate the discussions with Turkey, which is obstructing a Swedish NATO accession.
– The opposition should have thought about that when they chose to raise this issue of mistrust, says Damberg in Aktuellt.
Ulf Kristersson, in turn, believes that the no-confidence vote was only about the Minister of Justice and that the government is responsible for the conversation being about Kakabaveh, whose vote the government depends on.
– He (Damberg) thinks that the opposition should take responsibility for the government’s government base. It is a completely absurd position, says the M-leader.
