The final of the Eurovision song contest 2024 is fast approaching and in Malmö, several journalists are on site to watch the genre showdown.

During Thursday’s semi-final, the odds changed quite a bit for the competing entries. Before the semi-finals, Israel’s contribution was Eden Golan’s “Hurricane” in ninth place according to the charts. After, Golan had climbed all the way to second place.

First place on the odds lists, however, remained Croatia’s Baby Lasagna with the contribution “Rim tim tagi dim”.

However, Ek is far from impressed by Skif’s performance. Skifs performs the old hit “Hooked on a feeling” and even though Ek, according to himself, “loves both Björn Skifs and the song”, it doesn’t hit loud enough.

The journalist Ek describes Skif’s performance as “underwhelming” and writes that he assumes that Björn Skifs was not the first Swedish artist to be asked to open the final of the Eurovision song contest 2024.

“I can only take it for granted that Zara Larsson, Robyn and others declined? Or?” he writes on his blog.
