This NASA research panel is a gathering of experts in fields ranging from physics to astrobiology. This structure was set up in June of last year to examine its observations of UFOs and data collected from the government and commercial sectors.
According to the news of the US television CNN International, NASA is expected to make a historical statement on UFOs today. NASA stressed that the focus of Wednesday’s session is the final negotiations before the report is published.
One of the most important aspects of the panel; The government’s first NASA investigation of a subject that military and national security officials once had to secrecy.
THIS STATEMENT IS A TURNING POINT
The term UFO, long associated with the concepts of flying saucers and aliens, was changed by the government to “UAP” (unidentified anomalous phenomenon). “There is no evidence that UAPs are of extraterrestrial origin,” NASA said when announcing the panel’s formation last June.
It marks the first time a NASA-Pentagon joint “official statement” has been made for the government, after decades of distorting, refuting, and discrediting popular views about UFOs.
