The USA took a decision to strengthen Ukraine’s hand in its war with Russia. The “Ukraine Democracy Defense Lending-Lease Law”, which was previously approved by the US Senate, was accepted with the “yes” votes of 417 deputies against the “no” votes of 10 deputies in the General Assembly of the House of Representatives.
SUITABLE FOR BIDEN’S APPROVAL
The bill, which will implement the “Lending and Leasing Law”, which was put into practice during the Second World War, was submitted to the approval of US President Joe Biden for its enactment.
THE LAW WAS USED IN 1941
With the said law, it is aimed to facilitate the process of sending military equipment and providing defense support to Ukraine.
Before the United States entered the Second World War in 1941, it used this law to provide equipment support to Britain and its other allies, although it did not take an active part in the war.
