Accordingly, in the 28-day period from July 31 to August 27, over 1.4 million new cases of Kovid-19 and over 1800 deaths from Kovid-19 were reported.
Compared to the previous 28-day period, there was a 38 percent increase in cases and a 50 percent decrease in the death rate.
It is stated that the reported cases do not accurately reflect the infection rates due to the decrease in testing and reporting globally.
