The second stage of the Critérium du Dauphiné this Monday June 3 arrives at the top of the Col de la Loge
After a first stage won by Mads Pedersen in a sprint, the favorites are expected on the second stage of the Critérium du Dauphiné. This Monday, June 3, the runners will leave Gannat and arrive at the top of the Col de la Loge in a 142-kilometer long stage. The main difficulties are concentrated in the finale with the last 25 kilometers uphill in stages. Runners will first have to climb the side of Saint-Georges-en-Couzan (7km at 5.8%), then after a short flat the Col de la Croix Ladret (3.1km at 6.1%) before final ascent.
Even if the physical state of the two runners is still to be judged, Remco Evenepoel and Primoz Roglic are announced as the big favorites of the day. We will also follow the French Dorian Godon (Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale), Valentin Madouas, Romain Grégoire (Groupama-FDJ) and Warren Barguil (Team dsm-firmenich PostNL), but also Dylan Teuns (Israel-Premier Tech), Neilson Powless (EF Education-EasyPost).
