Soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo is suspended for one match after making an apparently obscene gesture after a Saudi league match on Sunday, as his al-Nassr won against al-Shabab 3-2.
After the final whistle, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner cupped his hand over one ear and then jabbed his hand back and forth near his crotch, seemingly aimed at opposing fans, footage on social media showed.
In the background, people can be heard chanting “Messi” from the stands, another reference Cristiano Ronaldo’s main rival in the sport. The incident was not caught by the television cameras.
