Crisis meetings after the breach of rules in the Farm – it happened

In Sunday’s episode of “The Farm” it is revealed that two of the participants broke the rules. When the group has gathered in the court, Wincent tells what happened.

– It has come to my attention that violations of the rules have been committed at the Farm. That two people have gone outside the Farm’s boundaries and thereby got hold of food, which has now certainly been returned, says Wincent.

– But I would very much like to have recognition from there, he continues.

It is Maxine Lindin and Jennifer Valencia who are behind the breach of the rules and as punishment they lose their amulets.

– Why we made this foul was because we needed some excitement. It was stupid, I regret it of course. But it was also a bit of fun while I was doing it, says Jennifer in the program.

Therefore, the participants broke the rules

For TV4, Maxine now explains more about what happened.

– You end up in a bubble in there, you are not yourself all the time. A mischief is great fun there, you do something you wouldn’t have done at all at home. We felt we needed a little life in the gap, so it turned out the way it did, says Maxine.

– But the fact that we got rid of the amulets didn’t matter to me, I already thought it was so extremely bad that they took all mine when I got back to the Farm. It didn’t matter, didn’t bother me at all, she continues.

It was during an evening walk that the participants found food, which they took back to the farm and hid – before being discovered by the production.

– We were still honest and said that we know we did wrong, you can send us home if you want, we must answer for what we have done and take our punishment. If you want us to pack up and move home, we will, says Maxine.

– They said no no, we will find a solution to this, we don’t want you to go home, she continues.

“Production was allowed to come in and have crisis meetings”

But their transgression – how it was handled by the production – was not appreciated by the other participants.

– There was a lot of chatter in there, of course they wanted us out after this. They kept nagging that it wasn’t okay, it also became a thing. They said we were treated differently by the production, it was chaos. The production was allowed to come in and have crisis meetings, as much as possible, says Maxine.

Joel Bendrik, who is executive producer for Farmen, explains how they ended up with the punishment as it was.

“Some of the team noticed that there was no candy. There was never any question of throwing them out, but the punishment would be felt. The most reasonable thing then was to take their amulets, which are very valuable to have, not least if you make it to the final weeks,” says Joel Bendrik.

Stream The Farm

Far from modernities, the participants live as farmers did in the 19th century. At the same time, they fight in a fierce competition with tactics and rascally games.
