(Finance) – The exhibition dedicated to Italian champions kicks off in Turin of cycling who took part in Tour de Francepromoted by Believe me at its headquarters in Villa Frassati. “When the tricolor was dyed yellow. The Italian champions at the Tour de France” is the title of the new exhibition that will be visible until July 12th.

As part of the exhibition, Credem intends to celebrate the important deeds of greats of Italian cycling on French soil – from Bartali to Coppi, from Moser to Bugno – through the bicycles that belonged to Bartali and Coppi, the yellow jerseys and other memorabilia and memories that belonged to the historic masseur of the national cycling team Giannetto Cimurri (1905-2002), originally from Reggio Emilia. A failed runner, a born masseur, Cimurri was called the “holy hand”, he participated in 74 world championships between road, track and cross, 40 Giri d’Italia and 11 Tour de France, and in 8 Olympics.

The initiative is part of the activities that the Credem Group has been carrying out for years enhance the history, sport and culture of Italy and territories for the benefit of the community and is linked to the stage arrival in Turin due to on July 1st of the Grande Boucle (official nickname of the Tour de France).

The exhibition is set up on the ground floor of the elegant spaces of Villa Frassati, built in 1916 by the famous Piedmontese engineer and architect
Giuseppe Momo (1875- 1940), where the new Credem headquarters was inaugurated last year in Turin. The building is also linked to the memory of Piergiorgio Frassati (1901-1925), beatified in 1990 by John Paul II.

The initiative was made possible thanks to the precious collaboration of the Cimurri family, the Ghisallo Museum and Gianfranco Trevisan.
