The season of the American football league NFL started early Friday morning Finnish time. The reigning champion Kansas City Chiefs opened their season with a 27-20 win over the Baltimore Ravens.
The NFL season kicked off in Kansas City, when last years’ dynasty team and reigning champion defeated the Baltimore Ravens 27-20 in their home arena, despite the drama of the final moments.
The Ravens were close to narrowing the game to 26-27 with a touchdown in the very last moments of the game, but Isaiah Likely drifted about a toe across the end zone before landing the catch. Likely stretched handsomely to brilliant by Lamar Jackson to input.
If the goal had been accepted, the away team would have been able to try to equalize with a kick goal. After video review, the touchdown was disallowed and the game ended with a jubilant storm of screams from the home fans.

In the stands of the match, we once again saw the usual stardom, when Kelce’s partner and pop music superstar Taylor Swift was cheering for the home team. The star artist encouraged Kelce and the rest of the team in his dugout, including Kelce Donna– with mom.
The Chiefs are seeking their fourth championship in the last six seasons. In last season’s Super Bowl, the team defeated the San Francisco 49ers 25–22.
