Crazy, but a player played through WoW Classic HC – naked and without talents

World of Warcraft Classic HC is already considered hard. But for one person it wasn’t hard enough. He took it upon himself to complete the whole thing naked.

The challenge of “World of Warcraft Classic” in the hardcore version is actually difficult enough. Getting to level 60 without dying on the way is probably an almost impossible feat for many. But for some players even that isn’t enough and they want to go one step further.

That’s what Reddit user fortunate_Relevant did. He played through “WoW Classic HC” – naked and without giving out a talent point.

What kind of class did he play? His class of choice was Hunter. This is only logical, because a hunter can send his pet forward, which then absorbs the damage while the hunter shoots from the background. But there isn’t much damage involved. Even at level 59, he only does around 100 points of damage with automatic attacks and his abilities can’t boast of high damage numbers either.

What evidence is there? As proof, he released a short video showing the final battle against a mob that promoted his dwarf “Dryasthmatic” to level 60. He also shows excerpts from the HC Challenge add-on, which monitors and records special achievements. So he didn’t wear any armor throughout the entire run and didn’t give out a single talent point. He has also completed some particularly difficult quests at the required level.

Was it ever close? When asked what the most difficult part was, fortunately_Relevant tells us about a situation on level 52:

The hardest part was trying to complete the Dragonkin Menace quest solo, at level 52. The strategy was to use Aspect of the Cheetah to pull the mobs one by one into the Redridge Mountains and kill them before they get up reset their spawn point. In Caster Elite, I was dazed and critically hit twice in a row. I survived with 81 HP and luckily my “playing dead” worked.

In the future, he wants to try the same thing with a warrior – which is considered almost impossible, since warriors are forced to engage in close combat and simply look old without armor.

Sometimes a run can end very spontaneously – when a friendly city guard gets fed up.
