    Two cars have collided on the E18 in Vallentuna.

    The alarm came in at 06:45.

    – One person is taken to hospital by ambulance, awake and able to speak, says Tommy Wållberg, commanding officer at the rescue service.

    As a result of the accident, the road is completely closed in the southbound direction.

    – We hope to be able to open up within 15 minutes, however with careful passing. There are a lot of queues on the road.

    Donald Trump is nominating former Republican congressman, reality show contestant and Fox profiler Sean Duffy for Secretary of Transportation, the president-elect announced on his Truth Social platform.

    Duffy began his career in Congress after winning a seat in the House of Representatives for his home state of Wisconsin in 2010, a seat he held until 2019 when he stepped down at his own request after his newborn daughter was diagnosed with a heart condition.

    In January of last year, he took over as one of the presenters of the program “The Bottom Line” on the Fox Business channel. He began his career in the television industry already in 1997, when he was in the reality series “The Real World: Boston”, which he followed up by participating in “Road Rules: All Stars” the following year.

    Frustrated US officials blamed the miss on “logistical problems” and denied that Biden deliberately delayed his arrival to avoid sharing a picture with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

    Instead, it is said that Biden’s meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau dragged on.

    The two instead posed with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, who was also not in the group photo.

    The Reuters news agency writes on Monday evening that Hezbollah and Lebanon are ready to accept a new cease-fire agreement with Israel, which has been negotiated by the United States.

    According to the telecom company, it runs between Lithuania and Sweden.

    Technical director Andrius Šemeškevičius states that it was cut off at 10 o’clock on Sunday morning.

    – The systems immediately reported that we had lost the connection, he tells LRT.
