While it is still quiet in the cemetery itself, people are working hard inside the dome. On his knees, architectural sculptor Zoltan Varro is busy working on the floor. For a century, a mosaic terrazzo floor was hidden under a thick layer of carpet. “Such a floor, when properly laid, is an art form in itself,” says Varro. And according to him, this is a special example. “It was clear at first glance that this was a beautiful one.”
