Where is the mask compulsory?

Contrary to protocol published in November 2021 and validated by the government, the wearing a mask is no longer necessary on chairlifts and ski liftson the mats that are only borrowed by one person at a time, nor when practicing alpine skiing, ski touring and Nordic skiing, indicates the communicated published in February by the Ministry of Tourism. In contrast :

► the Wearing a mask is compulsory for people aged 6 or over who enter or stay in closed vehicles ski lifts (gondola) as well as access areas located in enclosed areas.

► wearing a mask is recommended for people over 6 years old in situations ofcrowd in the open air at the foot of the ski lifts.

Is the health or vaccination pass always requested?

The health pass for people aged 12 and over and under 16 and the vaccination pass for people aged 16 and over is always required for access to all the ski lifts. Verification of the health or vaccination pass must be carried out by controls of people accessing the sales area transport tickets and by checks carried out in the departure areas of the ski lifts by the manager or any person authorized by him for this purpose under the conditions provided for by the regulations in force. In case of non-presentation of the health or vaccination pass, access to the lift will be refused. For children, checks will be carried out by the ski school instructors at the start of the lessons ; in the event of non-presentation of the health or vaccination pass, access to the course will not be authorized. the health or vaccination pass is required for access to gondolas, cable cars, funiculars, chairlifts, drag lifts and conveyor belts covered by the tourism code.
