What are the Covid vaccination figures in France?

In France, 60% of the population received a complete primary vaccination + a booster dose (20% of the French population is not vaccinated). Alone 29.2% of 60-79 year olds and 39.5% of people aged 80 and over as well as 44.1% of eligible EHPAD residents received their second booster dose, indicates Public Health France in the epidemiological update of July 18.

Government and Public Health France sites report Covid deaths in hospitals and in social and medico-social establishments, i.e. 148 254 to July 27, 2022 according to’WHO. Covid deaths outside these structures are not recorded in real time. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, theInsee recorded a “exceptional mortality in 2020” with nearly 669,000 deaths from all causes, i.e. 56,000 more deaths than in 2019 (+9%).
