Ohsweken Public Health is reporting three recent deaths on Six Nations of the Grand River due to COVID-19.
There have now been 22 COVID deaths on Six Nations since the start of the pandemic two years ago.
The agency releases no details surrounding COVID-19 deaths and it is not known when the latest deaths occurred.
In Brantford and Brant County, 55 local deaths have been attributed to COVID-19.
Ohsweken Public Health reported 36 COVID active cases on Six Nations as of Friday, with 134 people in self-isolation.
There are five people from Six Nations currently hospitalized with the virus.
Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 1,471 confirmed cases.
Exact numbers are not available but 55 per cent of the population on Six Nations has received a dose of the vaccination, with 50 per cent completing their vaccination series.
