The healthcare alliance, which owns and operates hospitals in St. Marys, Stratford, Seaforth and Clinton, is working in collaboration with Huron Perth public health to manage the outbreak. Affected patients, family and caregivers, and team members are being notified and testing of patients is underway.

Family and caregiver presence on the unit has been modified. Patients may only have one family member, caregiver or visitor per day with no in-and-out privileges. Family members and caregivers are required to wear personal protective equipment including masks, eye protection, gowns and gloves.

Anyone who is feeling unwell is advised not to visit a patient at any of the healthcare alliance’s hospitals.
