Courteney Cox admits it: she abused aesthetic medicine which deformed her face. At 57, she regrets her injections and no longer wants to be afraid of aging.
A few years ago, Courteney Cox (the eternal Monica Geller in the cult series Friends) displayed a deformed face, modified by injections of all kinds. Today, the actress admits to having fallen into a “madnessand no longer wants to undergo these aesthetic medicine procedures.
Courteney Cox and her “strange” face
In an interview for the Sunday Times Style Magazine published on February 20, Courteney Cox confided in cosmetic surgery, returning to the procedures she tried. Desiring to fight the signs of aging at all costs, the actress admits to having entered into a certain “madness”. “There is a moment when you say to yourself ‘Oh, I am changing, I look older'”, she said, before adding that she had been chasing this eternal youth for years.
The star succumbed to numerous Botox injections which, she admits in hindsight, distorted her face. “And I didn’t realize that.. I look really weird with all these injections and things I’m doing to my face that I’m never going to do again.“, she confessed. Today, Courteney Cox regrets her excesses. This is why she had all the injections made dissolved in 2017, thus finding her true face.
Accept to age with your age
In this same interview, Courteney Cox also spoke about her relationship with age, explaining that she wanted “age more gracefully”. If she has “hard to believe” as she approaches the symbolic bar of 60 years, the star 57 years old emphasizes that youth is more of a state of mind. “I feel like I’m young. I have a lot of friends in their thirties, and I don’t think about it. For me, we are the same age. she said. Courteney Cox now prefers to turn to effective anti-aging cosmetics, admitting to being ready to “try everything” to look younger without plastic surgery.
