But court records show Sheilindrea Bressette is facing four charges linked to the alleged incident.

Sarnia police previously said overnight on Dec. 1 a woman was stabbed, suffering a significant wound to her forehead along with injuries to her eyebrow and hand. A female suspect was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, and uttering death threats, and was held in custody pending a bail hearing, police said.

Court records show Bressette, a Sarnia resident, is facing those charges, although the one count has been changed to uttering threats to cause bodily harm, along with a fourth charge of disobeying a court order of staying away from weapons.

Bressette was released from custody the same day she was arrested and will return to court later this month.

The complainant is Rebecca Henry, the documents say.
