Second day of competition for the world ski championships with the men’s alpine combined on the program this Tuesday.
After the women, place in the men’s alpine combined this Tuesday, February 7 at the world championships of alpine skiing in France. Alexis Pinturault is particularly expected at home even if the competition promises to be fierce and the Frenchman is not at all the favorite of the event (Meillard, Kilde, Schwarz should play for victory). On the other hand, there will not be the French skier Cyprien Sarrazin, hit in the back and who has withdrawn for the combined. Blaise Giezendanner and Nils Allègre will also be at the start but will only do the Super G to get information on the track.
During the first day on Monday February 6, the Italian Federica Brignone won the alpine combined. The skier “killed” the race in the first run as explained by the American Mikaela Shiffrin in the mixed zone. The one who hoped to keep her title finally left the track during the second round.
