FRENCH CUP. Start of the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France this Tuesday with AS Monaco which receives Amiens. Other posters on the program: a confrontation between N2 clubs and an attractive Nice-OM. In closing, Nantes will receive Bastia.
[Mis à jour le 7 février 2022 à 12h20] PSG eliminated, the 105th edition of the Coupe de France will have a new winner since 2019 and the triumph of Rennes. Four clubs from Ligue 1, two from Ligue 2 and two teams from Nationale 2 are still in the running. On the program in these quarter-finals: an enticing Nice-Marseille and a confrontation between Bergerac and Versailles, the two National 2 clubs. The quarter-finals begin this Tuesday with AS Monaco which hosts Amiens. Finalist in 2021, ASM has the opportunity to win its sixth Coupe de France. Among the other posters, the two N2 clubs, Bergerac and Versailles will meet to obtain a place in the semi-finals. Nantes will receive this Thursday the Corsican club of Bastia.
Shock in perspective in these quarter-finals: Nice-Marseille. Without its supporters deprived of travel, OM travels this Wednesday to its neighbor Nice who eliminated Paris Saint-Germain, defending champion. Suspended, Boubacar Kamara will not be in the game. Jorge Sampaoli’s players have the opportunity to win their first title since 2012 and the League Cup. Three times winners of the Coupe de France, OGC Nice can win, if Christophe Galtier’s players go all the way, their first trophy since 1997 and… a Coupe de France.
